Morning Families,

As we complete our first full week of school, we wanted to share some updates.

1. We completed our first fire drill this week and next week will continue with another safety drill.  Please see the attached letter.

2. The cafeteria will be closed on Wednesday, September 20th.

3. We will be having our Terry Fox Run, Walk and Wheel on Tuesday, Spetember 19th with a rain date of the 20th.  Students are welcome to bring in a donation, we have a jug set up in the entry way.

4. Our first SAC meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 19th at 5:30.  The SAC is an advisory body to the principal, HRCE, tackling issues related to the school/school system and setting up the year for student/& community success.

5. Our first PTO meeting will take place the same day, Tuesday, September 20th at 6:30.  Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of volunteers working together to supplement and enrich the educational experience. Planning mostly fundraising events that provides support to the students by means of classroom enhancements, field trip funding, special events and much more.
